Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using LetTrack. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

You must not use LetTrack to:

Illegal activity

  • Violate any UK law or regulation
  • Facilitate unlawful discrimination in housing (Equality Act 2010)
  • Process personal data in breach of UK GDPR
  • Conduct rent-to-rent fraud or tenancy deposit fraud

Harmful conduct

  • Harass, intimidate, or threaten tenants or other users
  • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Attempt to access another organisation's data
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or scraping
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security controls

Misleading content

  • Upload false compliance certificates or documentation
  • Misrepresent property conditions in inspections or inventories
  • Create fraudulent tenant profiles

Your responsibilities as a landlord or agent

You are responsible for ensuring your use of LetTrack complies with the Housing Act 1988, Landlord and Tenant Act 1985, Renters (Reform) Act provisions, Awaab's Law requirements, EPC requirements, and all other applicable UK housing legislation.

Reporting violations

Report suspected violations to trust@lettrack.co.uk. We take all reports seriously and aim to respond within 2 business days.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice where there is risk of harm. For less serious violations we will issue a warning first.
