Who changed this contact's details, and when?
Open any person/contact record and use the History tab to see a plain-English log of every create, update, or delete made to that record, with who did it and when.
Where to find it
Open any contact record under People and select the History tab (next to AML). It lists every change made to that person's record, most recent first.
What it shows
Each entry shows:
- What happened — Created, Updated, or Deleted
- Which fields changed — in plain English (e.g. "Email", "Phone", "Address", "Postcode"), not raw database column names
- Who did it — the team member's name
- When — the exact date and time
Housekeeping fields (internal timestamps, row IDs) are filtered out so the log only shows changes that actually matter to you.
Who can see it
The History tab is visible to landlord and agency roles that manage properties and contacts (owners, admins, property managers). A couple of narrower agency support roles won't see the tab and get a permission notice instead — this matches who can already see the wider audit trail elsewhere in LetTrack.
Why it exists
Contact records are shared across your team, so it can matter who last touched a tenant or landlord's details. Every change is recorded automatically in an append-only audit log the moment it happens — nobody, including LetTrack staff, can edit or delete an audit entry after the fact.
