How do I delete my LetTrack account?

Short answer

Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete your account, tell us why in a few words, and submit. This raises a request rather than deleting your account instantly, because your landlord or agency may be legally required to keep some records (like compliance certificates or rent history) for a retention period.

How to request deletion

  1. Open Settings, then Privacy.
  2. Choose Delete your account.
  3. Enter a short reason (at least 20 characters) and submit.

This is available to every account type — landlord, agency staff, and tenant — with no sign-up plan or role restriction.

What happens next

Your request is logged and tracked from the same Privacy page, alongside any other data request you have made. It is handled as an erasure request rather than an instant delete, because a landlord or agency is the data controller for information like compliance documents and rent records tied to a tenancy, and some of that may need to be kept for a legal retention period even after your account closes.

Submitting the request also clears any LetTrack data cached on the device you submitted it from.
