Short answer

Go to Properties → Add property, search your postcode to pull the official address, confirm the basic details, and create it — LetTrack sets up the compliance requirements when you add a tenancy.

Before you start

A property belongs to a landlord or agency workspace, so you'll need your organisation set up first. If you don't have one yet, LetTrack will prompt you to create it.

Adding the property

Go to Properties → Add property. Start by searching your postcode — LetTrack looks up the official address and validates it against the property reference (UPRN). Pick your address from the results to fill in the details automatically.

If the lookup can't find a match, you can still create the property manually; it's simply flagged for a quick review.

The details we capture

You'll confirm or add:

  • the address
  • property type — house, flat, HMO, bungalow, maisonette or other
  • bedrooms and bathrooms
  • EPC rating
  • council tax band and construction year
  • whether it's a listed building

Choose Create property and you're done.

What happens next

Once the property exists you can set up a tenancy on it, and LetTrack generates the relevant compliance requirements for you automatically.
