How do I invite a tenant to a tenancy?

Short answer

Open the tenancy, choose Invite a tenant, enter their email to generate a secure link (valid 7 days), and share it — your tenant creates an account and accepts to get their own access.

Sending the invite

Open the tenancy you want to add the tenant to and find Invite a tenant. Enter the tenant's email address, tick whether they're the lead tenant or a guarantor, and choose Create invite.

LetTrack generates a secure, unique invite link. Copy it from the invites table and share it with your tenant. Each invite is valid for 7 days.

What your tenant does

When the tenant opens the link:

  • If they don't have an account, they create one — full name, email (already filled in) and a password — and accept in one step.
  • If they're already signed in, they just choose Accept invite. If the invite was sent to a different email, LetTrack flags it so they can switch to the right account.

Once accepted, the tenant is linked to the tenancy and gets their own secure view of it. You'll see them listed under the tenancy's tenants and access section.

If the invite expires

Invites expire after 7 days. If yours has lapsed, create a new one from the same tenancy and share the fresh link.
