Short answer

Pay rent directly to your landlord or agent via bank transfer. LetTrack records each payment in your tenancy timeline but does not process payments directly.

How rent payments work

LetTrack records and tracks rent payments but does not process payments itself — money moves directly between you and your landlord or agency.

What your landlord/agent sets up

  • Bank account details for BACS transfer
  • Payment due dates and frequency (weekly, monthly)
  • Any reference you should quote on the transfer

Your responsibilities

  • Pay on or before the due date
  • Quote your tenancy reference on every transfer so it can be matched
  • Keep bank receipts as evidence

When LetTrack logs a payment

Your landlord or agent marks payments as received inside LetTrack. You will see an updated status in your tenancy dashboard once they confirm.

If something goes wrong

If you have paid but LetTrack still shows rent as outstanding, contact your landlord or agent directly — they may not have marked it as received yet.

Never pay rent via a platform or person you have not verified through your official tenancy agreement.
