Can I upload an inventory or inspection I already did, instead of doing it in LetTrack?
Yes — upload the PDF on the tenancy and it becomes that tenancy's inventory, used for the move-out comparison, deposit deductions and the tenant's sign-off. You can also download a PDF report of any inventory or inspection, done in LetTrack or uploaded.

Uploading an existing inventory or inspection
If a clerk did your check-in or check-out, or you did it on paper, you don't need to redo it in LetTrack. Open Upload an existing inventory from the tenancy (or a property's tenancy list) and upload the PDF — choose whether it's a check-in or check-out.
The upload becomes that tenancy's inventory record, exactly as if it had been done in the app. It is then used for:
- the move-out comparison between check-in and check-out
- deposit deductions, as evidence
- the tenant's sign-off — the tenant is asked to agree or dispute it, same as a LetTrack-conducted inventory
Two clicks: upload and send together
Uploading and sending the inventory to the tenant for review is one flow — you don't upload, then separately remember to send it. The review card for a pending inventory also appears at the top of the tenancy, and the dashboard will prompt you to propose deductions once a move-out is ready for them.
Downloading a PDF report
Both inspections and inventories (whether conducted in LetTrack or uploaded) have a Download PDF report action. It builds a PDF with the header facts, findings by room, and — for inventories — meters, keys and sign-offs, with the same verification panel and footer as LetTrack's other verifiable reports. Photos stay in LetTrack rather than being embedded in the PDF.
Correcting an uploaded inventory
If you need to replace an uploaded inventory with a corrected version, upload the new PDF as a replacement rather than editing — the earlier one is kept and marked as replaced, so the history stays intact.
