Can I still see my compliance status or documents with no signal?
Yes — landlords keep seeing their last-loaded compliance verdict, and tenants their document list, even with no signal. It is a read-only snapshot (a verdict and a date only, no file names or notes) that clears when you sign out, switch organisation, or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
What stays visible offline
- Landlords/agents: the compliance verdict for each property you last viewed — a status and a date, nothing more.
- Tenants: your document list — each document type and its expiry date, nothing more. Right to Rent records are never included in this snapshot.
No file names, notes, tenant names, or addresses are stored in the offline snapshot — only enough to answer "is this still valid?" while you have no connection.
What it does not do
This is read-only. You cannot upload documents, update a compliance record, or do anything else while offline — it is there so the page is not blank if you check it with no signal (for example, in a property with poor reception).
When it clears
The snapshot is removed automatically when you sign out, switch organisation, or after 7 days — whichever happens first. This is disclosed in our cookie policy, since it is a copy of your data kept briefly on your device.
Turning it off
An organisation can ask LetTrack to turn this off entirely if it would rather no compliance data was ever copied onto a device.
